Jerry Lynch started JFL Consulting Inc. in 1997 following a successful career with Aetna as a Vice President of Marketing responsible for their largest market.  Jerry chose to pursue his true passion: helping individuals and business owners achieve their financial goals.  He has over 20 years of experience in insurance and financial services and the past 10 years as an independent advisor.

Most financial planning is a world of “Micro Planning” that consists of accountants, attorneys, property and casualty agents, life insurance and business insurance agents, stock brokers, etc.  Unless these people are working as a team, the system probably has issues.  Example being, if your auto coverage is not adequate, your securities are at risk.  A 10% increase in the company’s medical costs may be reasonable, but they can wipe out your ability to fund your retirement. Everything is related- at JFL, our job is to make the system work together.

Our goal is to help monitor your program, make it easier for you to understand, eliminate the gaps and overages, and simplify your life. We accomplish this by listening to your goals and concerns, bringing our years of expertise in financial planning and investment strategies to your side, and surrounding you with professional, talented resources to meet your needs.

Philosophy

  • Put your money where your mouth is.  Any strategies or plans that we recommend to you, we should be doing ourselves or at least disclose what we do.
  • Always do the right thing- we focus on helping you get what you want!
  • Focus on the system first, the products second.  After we help you to decide what strategies will best meet your goals, your family’s goals, or your business’ goals, we then look for the appropriate products.  The product should not be planned prior to the first meeting.
  • Balance is the key- there is no one magic product nor can we invent new ones.  The key is a balance that gives you more protections, helps reduces long terms taxes, and provides for more long term growth
  • The Tortoise always wins!  A disciplined approach will consistently win against people chasing returns.
